Indications/Uses
States of shock eg, haemorrhagic shock, shock in plasma loss & other situations of shock. Plasma & albumin deficiencies in burns, before, during or after operations, nephrotic syndrome, plasma exchange & hyperviscosity syndrome.
Dosage/Direction for Use
To be administered by IV infusion or inj. Vol depends on individual requirements & on the protein deficit.
Special Precautions
Administer slowly w/ particular care & under medical supervision in coagulation disturbances; severe heart failure; pulmonary oedema, renal failure w/ oliguria or anuria; oesophageal varices, malnutrition. Beware of diabetic metabolic state.
Adverse Reactions
Extremely rare mild reactions eg, flushing, urticaria, fever & nausea.
